Elevate The Space is a family-run business based in Nottingham, delivering renovations, bespoke joinery, and electrical services.
Built on 25 years of experience and a shared belief in doing things the right way, we help homeowners, and selected small businesses, transform spaces to support daily life, wellbeing, and long-term value.

Our Story
The idea for Elevate The Space was born during a family holiday. Inspired by the freedom to dream and plan together, Chris and Poppy envisioned a business that would reflect their shared values, creativity, and passion for transforming spaces. From that moment, they set out to build a family-run company blending Chris’s exceptional craftsmanship with Poppy’s operational expertise, all while prioritising the flexibility and balance that are important to their family life.
Chris, a qualified electrician with over 25 years of experience across commercial, domestic, and industrial projects, brings a wide range of skills to Elevate. Coming from a family of electricians, he has renovated Victorian homes, supervised major contracts, and built a reputation for delivering practical, high-quality solutions.
His creativity extends beyond homes, from converting a van in New Zealand with minimal tools to designing two further campervans for family adventures. Alongside Poppy, he combines practical skills with careful planning, creating functional and inspiring spaces wherever they go.
Poppy brings a love for combining interior design sensibility with everyday functionality and restored, or old furniture and objects. With her background in operations and project organisation, she ensures Elevate's work stays committed to its vision, supportive, and personally tailored to each client’s needs.
After years of balancing working, parenting, and homeschooling, Chris and Poppy saw the opportunity to shape a business that offered the same flexibility, creativity, and craftsmanship they value in their own lives. Elevate The Space is the natural outcome of their shared journey: a business that creates spaces built to last, evolving around real life.

Chris has been in the electrical trade since the age of 16, following in his family's footsteps. Over 25 years, he has honed a wide range of skills, from full home renovations to bespoke joinery and creative space transformations. His ability to see solutions where others see obstacles makes him an expert at bringing visions to life with confidence and technical precision.
Co-Founder & Business Operations
Poppy ensures every project is planned, communicated, and delivered smoothly. With a love for interiors, values-led operations, and a background in project management, she brings structure, creativity, and human-centred organisation to Elevate’s approach.
